Hi, I’m Sarah.

A little bit about me…

For over twelve years I’ve worked with charities, policymakers and researchers - telling their stories, managing their reputations and influencing change.

I’ve worked on some of the most compelling issues in international development, such as maternal healthcare, protecting the most vulnerable from climate change, and ensuring all children with disabilities get the education they deserve.

I've helped companies raise their profile and generate new business leads, and have enabled local charities to engage their community with their cause.

In my experience even the most persuasive stories need a well thought-through plan behind their communication, if they are to make an impact.

My skills

I work across the communications spectrum - I develop strategy, build partnerships, implement campaigns, deliver targeted media coverage, write compelling copy, manage social media influencers, run successful events and edit publications. I also enjoy training and advising academics and experts on how to effectively engage a broader audience in their work – whether donors, partners, parliamentarians or policymakers.

And I started my career in a central government press office, so I’ve plenty of experience of managing issues and crises.

Take a look at my portfolio to see examples of my work and do get in touch if you’d like to explore working together.
